Notification of Temporary Road Closure
NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U14069 Thursford Road from its junction with U1414 The Pastures west for 20 metres in the PARISH OF LITTLE SNORING because of water installation work.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 4th December 2017 to 6th December 2017 for the duration of the works, expected to be 3 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: U14069 Thursford Road, C317 The Street, U14006 The Hill.
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.

Rationalising the Main River Network (RMRN project) – the Environment Agency wants to hear your views
Environment Agency Invitation Oct 2017 Over the last year, the Environment Agency has been working closely with key partners such as Internal Drainage Boards and Lead Local Flood Authorities to develop proposals to re-designate sections of selected watercourses across five pilot sites in England.

Access to Superfast Broadband in Little Snoring
At the recent Parish Council meeting, Karen O’Kane from Norfolk County Council gave a presentation on the project Better Broadband for Norfolk and the progress that had been made in Little Snoring.
One cabinet, located on Holt Road, has already gone ‘live’ which means that people in that half of the village – Kettlestone Road, The Croft etc. are able to upgrade to superfast broadband. (Do contact your Internet Service Provider for more information.)
Another cabinet is due to be installed next summer in the other half of the village to serve The Street, Thursford Road etc.

Advance Notice of Road Closure
NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the Thursford Road from a point 90m north of its junction with The Pastures heading north for 90m in the PARISH OF LITTLE SNORING because of new water supply.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 15th August 2017 to 17th August 2017 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 3 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: Thursford Road, The Hill, The Street.
