Notice of Vacancies
Following the resignation of Ray Verrall and Susan Wills the District Council has issued the following notices:
Notice of Vacancy – Ray Verrall and Susan Wills
Ray Verrall has been a member of the Parish Council for many years and served as the Chairman since 2007. We appreciate all the he has done for the community over the years taking the initiative in many parish council projects, taking part in village events with enthusiasm and supporting St Andrew’s Church and visiting older residents of the village. We wish Ray and his wife Diane all the very best. They will be greatly missed when they move away to be nearer their family.
Susan Wills has not been in the village for as long, but has also played a role in village life and the Parish Council appreciates her support over the last few years.

Good Neighbours
Many hands make light work.
More volunteers are needed to man the phone. For the past few years two stalwart volunteers, Pat Riches and Mary Whayman have shared the responsibility of having the phone, responding to calls and arranging assistance. However they would really appreciate it if more people were part of the team and able to share the responsibility.
Please do call 07826 608 585 if you would like to be part of the team. Alternatively contact the Parish Clerk on 01328 822366 or email [email protected]

Notices of Vacancies
Following the resignation of Philip Hall and Linda Wash the District Council has issued these notices:
The Parish Council appreciates Phil and Linda’s work while they were councillors and for their enthusiastic support of the community since they move here. They both made great scarecrows for the festivals and have helped with stalls at primary school fetes. We can now see evidence of their hard work a couple of years ago as daffodils begin to show their heads and these will be followed by tulips as the Spring progresses.
